Another Successful Summer for Books for the Block
MahoganyBooks is excited to close out another successful Books for the Block campaign. This initiative allows us to partner with DC area organizations and media outlets to support the gift of literacy. We collect new and gently used children's books throughout the region and then turn around and give them away to children in our communities.
A big thanks goes out to our 2014 partners: emPower Magazine, WPFW Radio, Prince William County Friends of the Chinn Library, Boys & Girls Club of Greater Washington - Hylton and Manassas locations, Ramunda Young, Inc, BloomBars and the The Prince William Chinn Library.
We made a few hundred more children smile again this year!
