A Southern Belle Remembers: Reminiscences of God's Graces (PB) (2016)

People tend to think of legacies as concrete things that we pass on from one generation to another. However it is the desire of the author to leave a legacy of memories of people, events, and everyday activities that highlighted her life. As she reflected on these memoirs, she was convinced that it was only by God's grace that she was able to become the person she is today. This is what she want s her children, their children, and future generations to know about her. Beginning in her early years, she chronicles her school life, her early faith experiences, and narratives describing her siblings. She highlights what her life was like at home, her college days, her marriage, her children and her move from the South to Michigan. She mentions the many celebrations she enjoyed as a child and an adult. She also writes about important people who influenced her life. This personal history is the legacy which she wishes to leave her children, their children and future generations.
