Where They Stood: The Evolution of the Black Anglo Community in Montreal (PB) (2023)

A collaborative work by young Black writers working with Montreal's Black Community Resource Centre, Where They Stood examines Black history beyond racism and slavery to tell the stories of those who made this community possible. By shining a light on the activists, the labourers, the immigrants and all those who forged the path for new generations, these young writers highlight Black achievement and reimagine what possibilities lie ahead. What remains is a story of positivity, triumph, and joy.
