Conner-Gately Family of New Orleans is a compelling account of history and family genealogy. This work is concerned with the descendants of Michael Conner and Bridget Gately of County Roscommon, from Ireland to America spanning the years 1853-2020. Two brothers, John J., and Michael Conner, along with their mother Bridget Gately and stepfather John Moore, would be very proud of their descendants. Their religion gave them emotional and community support, along with first and second-generation Irish residents. As time passed, their descendants became engineers, railroad personnel, newspapermen, pharmacists, retail, and members of the police and fire departments. Many also went on to bravely serve in our armed forces.
