It Is What It Is--Epiphany (PB) (2013)

Follow me on my journey to me. Within these pages lies a collection of 65 poems chronicling the various emotions, joys, and trials a young woman may encounter in her coming of age. Though these experiences are specific to my individual journey, anyone who has ever felt anything will be able to relate to something here. I wish I had a roadmap or tourguide as I was finding my way, but that was not the case. However, it is my hope to be that for someone else. Who knows--maybe you'll read this book and see red flags when something in your interactions doesn't seem quite right. One can only hope. Enjoy the ride.
